Founded by William McLaren Bristol and John Ripley Myers in 1887 Bristol-Myers Company was born. Bristol-Myers Squibb released products during the depression. From the 60’s to the late 80’s they focused on acquiring smaller pharmaceutical and specialty companies to allow themselves the ability to expand in the direction they wish. Bristol-Myers Squibb Company has become greatly involved with the National Cancer Institute, have received the National Medal of Technology, began their SECURE THE FUTURE campaign to advance HIV/AIDS research in southern Africa, and has become an active member of UNAIDS Drug ACCESS Initiative. The merger of Bristol-Myers Company and Squibb has made them one of the global authorities of pharmaceutical research and development worldwide.

- You must be a citizen of the United States
- You must not be covered by private or public health insurance
- You must meet and undisclosed income guideline
